About the Role

The role assists skilled craft workers with assigned duties and may involve work in other crafts appropriate to the employee’s training and skill level, under direction from a foreman or higher‑skilled worker. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, material storage, and time. • Consult a supervisor before proceeding if unsure about work or safety issues. • Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the job. • Safely operate work‑related tools and equipment. • Identify improvement opportunities in tasks, methods, and learn from others. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Deliver high‑quality work safely and productively. • Ensure required materials, tools, equipment, and information are available. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis. • Navigate confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.

What You Bring

Must have at least one year of construction experience, pass a pre‑employment drug test, and be available for shift work and overtime as needed. Pay starts at $22 per hour, adjusted for experience and abilities, and includes an additional cash fringe. The schedule is 40–50 hours per week, and the project is estimated to last two years. • Perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide). • Hold NCCER Core Curriculum certification or a high school diploma/equivalent. • Possess 1–3+ years of experience in industrial/commercial construction (Level I‑III). • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.). • Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently. • Stooping, kneeling, or bending occasionally.
