About the Role

We’re looking for a Water Serviceperson to join our team in Invercargill, supporting the operation and maintenance of water, wastewater and storm water networks. This is a practical, field‑based role where no two days are the same. You will carry out routine maintenance, respond to pump station faults and network incidents, complete reinstatement works to a high standard, and take part in standby and call‑out rosters as well as incident and emergency response when required. • Perform routine maintenance on water, wastewater, and storm water networks. • Respond to pump station faults and network incidents. • Complete reinstatement works to high standards. • Participate in standby and call‑out rosters and support emergency response. • Maintain accurate field documentation timely.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has experience in water, wastewater or storm water reticulation and pump station maintenance, and holds relevant infrastructure, water or trade qualifications or is working towards them. Strong safety awareness, a commitment to Zero Harm, and the ability to complete field documentation accurately and on time are essential. A full Class 1 driver’s licence is required, with Class 2, RTW, traffic management and confined spaces training considered an advantage, and the willingness to participate in standby and call‑out rosters. • Hold relevant water or trade qualifications (or be working towards them). • Demonstrate strong safety awareness and commitment to Zero Harm. • Hold a full Class 1 driver’s licence (additional training advantageous).
