About the Role
The Western Region Construction Field Services Leader reports to the Construction Field Services Director and works with Field Office Principals, Area Leads, and Business Group Leads to provide technical oversight, staff resources, and career development across the region. This role also supports recruiting, strategic planning, and the implementation of quality and digital delivery initiatives. • Drive Construction Field Services growth across all business groups in the region • Balance workload, staffing, and utilization for CFS staff • Participate in regional strategic planning, budgeting, and plan implementation • Grow, develop, and mentor Field Office Principals and future CFS leaders • Partner with business group leads to pursue and deliver CFS services to clients • Develop and advance strategic partnerships for Construction Field Services • Coordinate and improve technical competencies of staff and products to meet client needs • Collaborate with area operations, marketing, and project management on business initiatives • Contribute to practice groups, project teams, and activities to improve standards • Provide technical oversight and staff resources across projects • Conduct project reviews focusing on deliverables, risk identification, and resource management • Monitor staff and project performance; implement measures to enhance outcomes and client relations • Lead technical and digital delivery evolution with business group CFS leaders • Align business processes with corporate policy and HDR’s matrix of authority • Implement quality, standards, and best practices per the Quality Management System • Support technical learning path development and mentoring for CFS staff • Support career path development for Construction Field Services delivery staff • Active involvement in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR expertise and brand • Collaborative work with regional directors, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers

What You Bring
• Travel up to 50% of the time • 15+ years of construction experience • Experience managing construction management or CEI teams across multiple geographies • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related professional field • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience • Maintain a professional or engineering registration with technical experience • Proven ability to develop and manage diverse teams
