About the Role

At Autodesk, we design experiences that unlock value for our customers. The Service Offering Manager is responsible for defining, designing, and operationalizing service offerings that support education customers in their adoption and transformation with Autodesk technology. This role focuses on horizontal, cross‑product experiences—especially services that leverage AI capabilities and platform services—and requires deep understanding of the education landscape across K‑12, vocational, higher education, and alternative programs. The manager will synthesize customer, product, and market inputs to create scalable offerings and partner with platform, business models, product, digital experience, sales, and education teams to bring them to market. The position is open in NAMER and EMEA and can be hybrid or remote. Responsibilities include designing and launching education‑focused, horizontally scoped offerings that connect Autodesk’s AI, platform services, and product portfolio to measurable educational outcomes such as learning results, adoption, institutional uptake, and curriculum integration. The manager will design end‑to‑end service offerings across multiple product lines, define expected customer experiences, document journey maps, deliverables, templates, business models, and pricing considerations. They will partner with Platform & Engineering and Product teams to translate capabilities into repeatable services, collaborate with Education and Industry teams to meet the needs of instructors, learners, institutions, and buyers, and define success metrics like time‑to‑value, adoption, NPS, license consumption, and learning outcomes. Using feedback, market data, and competitive insights, they will prioritize roadmaps and evolve content, scope, and pricing, while providing program management for design, pilot, and scale phases, creating launch checklists, enablement plans, and risk mitigations for compliant deployments. The role also ensures privacy, security, and ethical AI use in education, coordinating with Trust/Privacy teams, and builds relationships with academic partners, resellers, and platform partners for broader distribution. • Design and launch AI‑powered, cross‑product service offerings that drive educational outcomes. • Define end‑to‑end service models, journey maps, pricing, and delivery templates. • Partner with platform, engineering, and product teams to translate capabilities into repeatable services. • Collaborate with educators and industry stakeholders to align offerings with curriculum and institutional needs. • Establish success metrics such as time‑to‑value, adoption rates, NPS, and license consumption. • Manage program phases from design through pilot to scale, including launch checklists and risk mitigation. • Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and ethical AI standards in education contexts. • Build relationships with academic partners, resellers, and platform partners for co‑delivery.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications include at least five years of relevant experience in service/offering design, professional services, consultancy, or product management for services. Candidates should have demonstrated experience designing and launching professional services or success offerings for enterprise SaaS or platform businesses with a cross‑product (horizontal) scope, and practical ability to translate platform capabilities and APIs into repeatable deliverables. Direct experience or strong domain knowledge of the education sector—covering K‑12, vocational, higher education, and edtech—including procurement cycles, LMS integration patterns, and curriculum needs is required. Knowledge of customer journey mapping, experience design, and operationalizing experiences across global delivery teams is essential, as is proven ability to work effectively with global virtual teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders. Strong program management skills with a track record of launching scalable offerings are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience working with academic IT systems, edtech, academic partnerships, and institutional procurement and licensing models. Experience with platform engineering teams, API product managers, or developer experience teams is valued, as is prior work designing services that incorporate AI/ML elements with ethical considerations, data governance, and model monitoring. Familiarity with education research design or methods to evaluate learning outcomes, as well as experience with partner enablement (systems integrators, resellers, academic partners) and GTM motions for professional services, are advantageous. An advanced degree in education technology, instructional design, product management, business, or a related field is also preferred. • Bring 5+ years of service design or product management experience, preferably in SaaS/platform environments. • Possess deep knowledge of K‑12, higher education, or vocational education ecosystems and procurement processes. • Demonstrate strong program management and ability to influence global, virtual teams. • Preferred: experience with academic IT systems, edtech partnerships, AI/ML service design, and education research methods.
