About the Role
Key responsibilities include owning the quality of one or more Civil 3D features or workflow areas. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, troubleshoot and isolate root causes with developers, and identify risks and complex real‑world scenarios. You will also drive continuous improvements in test coverage, automation frameworks, and overall QA processes. You will ensure product quality across Windows platforms, varied hardware configurations, GPU drivers, and performance conditions. Participation in requirements and design reviews will allow you to influence testability. Collaboration with Product Management, UX, DevOps, and Release teams is essential to delivering high‑quality releases. • Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases • Perform deep troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis with developers • Identify risks, edge cases, and complex scenarios involving large datasets • Drive improvements in test coverage, automation frameworks, and QA processes • Ensure product quality across Windows platforms, hardware configurations, GPU drivers, and performance conditions • Participate in requirements and design reviews to influence testability • Collaborate with Product Management, UX, DevOps, and Release teams

What You Bring
We are seeking a Senior Software Tester for Civil 3D. In this hybrid, Toronto‑based role, you will apply end‑user knowledge to plan, develop, execute, and maintain test strategies aimed at early defect detection, ensuring customers receive exceptional functionality and services. Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline, three to five years of software testing experience—especially with engineering, CAD, or modeling tools—hands‑on experience with Civil 3D or similar applications, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency with version control, CI/CD, defect tracking, and test management platforms. Preferred qualifications include solid experience testing complex engineering or CAD applications, deep understanding of Agile development, ability to quickly navigate large software systems, rapid adoption of new tools and testing methodologies, and a proven track record of effective cross‑functional collaboration. • Own quality of Civil 3D features or workflow areas • Minimum 3–5 years software testing experience with engineering/CAD tools • Hands‑on testing experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit or similar applications • Proficient with Git, CI/CD, defect tracking, and test management platforms • Strong analytical, communication, and detail‑oriented skills • Preferred: experience testing complex CAD applications and Agile methodologies • Ability to navigate large software systems and adopt new tools quickly
