About the Role
The Aerial Foreman supports all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, installing and repairing aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable, and managing pole and wire placement to ensure efficient operation. They establish safety perimeters, review plans and specifications, direct site activities, complete required documentation, communicate with supervisors, lead in‑house crews, and oversee daily schedules and productivity. • Install and/or repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable • Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, open‑wire, drop and block wire to maintain efficient operation of customer facilities • Set up a safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers • Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions for compliance with design specifications • Direct on‑site activities and manage crew tasks • Complete required documentation and record crew time • Communicate with the Area Supervisor or Manager • Lead in‑house crews as the foreman • Oversee daily schedules, deliveries, and productivity of the aerial crew • Operate digger and Derek truck • Read and interpret work orders and CTV cable prints

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of telecommunications construction experience, proficiency in coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and both aerial and underground work. They should hold OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications, possess strong knowledge of CATV practices, be able to operate bucket trucks, diggers, and Derek trucks, lift up to 70 lb, and climb up to 35 ft. Leadership, problem‑solving, and the ability to work under pressure, on call, and in all weather conditions are essential. • Minimum 3+ years experience in telecommunications construction • Proficient in coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, aerial and underground construction • Able to operate bucket trucks, climb poles up to 35 ft, and lift up to 70 lb • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements; hold OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications • Strong knowledge of CATV building practices and CTV/aerial field equipment • Available for on‑call work, including evenings and weekends • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and under pressure • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities • Relevant MOS codes: 2847, B05A, 3D157, 002599, 5699, 12P, 12Q, 12H, 3E251, 3E271
