About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager II supports the Project Manager by coordinating engineering, estimating, project controls, client presentations, procurement, and construction activities throughout development and execution phases. The role may involve handling multiple projects simultaneously and assisting with proposals or rotations in operational support groups. When required, the APM II can act as the Project Manager in the PM’s absence. • Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities throughout project development and execution. • Assist the Project Manager in creating initial schedules and preparing monthly review reports for senior management. • Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews and develop subcontractor/vendor scopes of work. • Work with safety personnel to implement project‑specific safety plans and support incident reporting and investigations. • Conduct financial reviews, closeouts, and post‑construction cost reporting, including lessons‑learned sessions. • Manage RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system and provide feedback to improve technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables. • Support procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages, and monitor overall design, procurement, and construction progress. • Facilitate project close‑out and warranty administration, and act as Project Manager when needed.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum 2 years of construction project experience covering engineering, estimating, bidding, scheduling, cost control, and document management. • Preferred background in EPC/design‑build and Power Delivery (substation, transmission & distribution) projects. • Demonstrate self‑starting attitude, strong problem‑solving, organizational, communication, and time‑management skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with estimating, scheduling, and project‑management software. • Travel up to 50 % of time as project needs dictate.

Benefits
This position may require up to 50 % travel based on project demands, with an anticipated salary range of $90,000–$120,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
