About the Role
The Polymer Center Maintenance Technician A ensures equipment repairs and maintenance are performed in compliance with safety standards and federal and state regulations. The role focuses on sorting, grinding, and washing equipment to maintain safe and productive operations, while also diagnosing complex electrical issues, coaching peers, and scheduling work to minimize downtime. Technicians maintain advanced knowledge of all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within the Polymer Center. They perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, screens, reducers, balers, optical sorters, air drum separators, compactors, magnets, dust collectors, and other material‑handling equipment, troubleshoot electromechanical failures, and complete work orders and consumables reports in the asset management system.

What You Bring
The position requires at least three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting, a mechanical, electrical or trade school certificate, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include rapid learning of new industrial equipment, welding/fabrication skills, and PLC programming experience.
