About the Role
The pre‑sales engineer will support Building Automation System (BAS) projects worldwide, providing technical assessments, cost estimates, and bill‑of‑material preparation to enable competitive bidding. Key duties include reviewing project specifications and MEP drawings, identifying HVAC components, leading kick‑off and review meetings, designing network architecture, selecting hardware and software, and ensuring quality‑assured, on‑time delivery while maintaining accurate timesheets. • Support pre‑sales engineering for global BAS projects • Prepare technical assessments and bill of materials for bids • Review project specifications and MEP drawings to identify HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors • Lead project kick‑off and review meetings, logging technical queries, compliance deviations, and risks • Design BAS network architecture and select appropriate hardware, software, controllers, and actuators • Ensure defect‑free, quality‑assured deliverables delivered on schedule • Maintain accurate timesheet entries and compliance

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Communications, possess strong HVAC and BMS knowledge, are familiar with industry protocols, have hands‑on experience with engineering and commissioning, and demonstrate leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. • Hold a BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Communications • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (chilled water, cooling towers, AHUs, VAV, etc.) and BMS architecture • Proficient with network protocols such as BACnet, LON, Modbus, OPC • Experience in engineering, installing, and commissioning HVAC and BMS for large‑scale projects • Automation skills in PLC programming and SCADA • Demonstrated leadership managing at least eight team members • Excellent written and verbal communication and problem‑solving abilities • Preferred experience in Building Automation industry and BMS design engineering
