About the Role
The Journeyman Lineman role involves diversified construction and maintenance of poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities, and related equipment to ensure reliable electricity distribution. Working with the line team, the lineman performs tasks ranging from building and inspecting transmission lines to troubleshooting customer equipment and training apprentices. • Construct, maintain, and inspect transmission and distribution power lines • Connect, disconnect, install, remove, move, and transfer transformers, regulators, switches, and capacitor banks • Route or reroute power lines around existing structures • Inspect and remove damaged power lines • Assist with pole installation, hole digging, and line switching operations • Train apprentices and crew members on line construction and maintenance • Troubleshoot electrical problems on customer equipment and address consumer complaints • Operate and maintain a bucket truck and its equipment

What You Bring
The position requires extensive physical activity in field environments, including bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in extreme weather conditions. Employees must have clear vision, precise hand‑eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish colors while performing the essential functions of the job. • High school diploma or equivalent with Journeyman Lineman certification • Minimum 3 years lineman experience, OSHA 10 certification, and valid Class A CDL • Preferred: 5+ years experience and OSHA 20 certification
