About the Role
The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for all on‑site operations of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk management, while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing regulations. • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate on‑site staff; create weekly schedules and address performance issues. • Develop operating budgets, monitor rent collection and vendor invoices, and ensure accurate financial reporting and timely property close‑out. • Create and execute annual marketing plans, lead leasing activities, handle resident complaints, and implement retention programs such as resident events and newsletters. • Manage administrative and leasing reporting; act as emergency response lead and ensure prompt maintenance and property upkeep. • Supervise maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation projects, obtain vendor bids, and ensure quality and expediency of work orders. • Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, Fair Housing, and OSHA regulations.

What You Bring
Required education includes a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree or four years of housing experience is preferred. Candidates should have 1–4 years of relevant experience, possess or be working toward CAM or ARM certification, be proficient with on‑site software and basic computer tasks, and understand Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. The role demands regular communication, the ability to stand or sit for extended periods, lift up to 25 lb, use ladders or scaffolding, work overtime, weekends, and nights for emergencies, and have reliable transportation for on‑call duties.

Benefits
Compensation is a salary of $95,680 per year plus a comprehensive total rewards package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, commission and performance bonuses, paid sick days, and company holidays.
