About the Role
The role seeks Mechanical Tradespeople – Fitter and Turner or Boilermaker – to improve the accuracy of asset inventory for better planning, maintenance and resource management. Key duties include daily inspections of assets such as pressure vessels, valves and lifting equipment, and real‑time data entry using iPads on Ventia’s Novus platform. Sites may be up to three hours away, with accommodation and travel allowances provided for away‑from‑home work. • Conduct daily inspections of assets (pressure vessels, valves, actuators, lifting equipment, safety showers, etc.) • Enter and validate data in real‑time using iPads on Ventia’s Novus platform • Travel to sites up to three hours away; remain flexible for away‑from‑home assignments

What You Bring
Candidates must have experience in large mechanical maintenance programs and networks, hold a current C‑class driver’s licence, and possess a construction white card. They must own a reliable vehicle (allowances apply), hold a qualified trade certificate (Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker), be able to obtain Hepatitis A and B vaccinations, and agree to medical and police checks. • Mechanical experience on large maintenance programs and networks • Current C‑class driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (allowances provided) • Construction white card and qualified trade certificate (Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, or Boilermaker) • Ability to obtain Hepatitis A & B vaccinations and undergo medical and police checks • Willingness to work in diverse and remote environments

Benefits
This position is full‑time (40 hours per week) with one rostered day off each month, offering an opportunity to transition off on‑site tools work.
