About the Role
The Regional Director, Sales for CoStar Data & Analytics in Houston will own the region’s growth objectives, driving new subscriptions, upselling existing customers, and maintaining high renewal rates. The role includes managing a team of sales professionals, coaching them in the field, and ensuring outstanding customer service and product adoption. • Grow regional and team revenues to exceed annual sales targets. • Attract, hire, and develop high‑impact salespeople who meet or surpass quota. • Spend 3‑4 days per week in the field coaching sales reps on calls. • Identify, prioritize, and win new client relationships while retaining and expanding existing accounts. • Monitor sales performance, enforce activity standards, and ensure CRM accuracy. • Set individual and team performance targets aligned with business goals and address performance issues promptly. • Mentor team members and embed CoStar culture and values.

What You Bring
External candidates must have at least five years of experience directly managing six or more salespeople and a recurring revenue book exceeding $10 million annually. Internal candidates need a minimum of five years of overall sales experience, including at least 24 months in a quota‑carrying role at CoStar with a strong track record of meeting targets. All candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, possess a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate a commitment to prior employers. Preferred qualifications include client‑facing experience in commercial real estate, a proven ability to build long‑term relationships, and a history of rapidly growing a sales territory through both new acquisition and account expansion. Strong internal and external relationship‑building skills and the capability to retain top producers while removing under‑performers are also valued.
