About the Role
• Apply scientific principles to develop solutions for limited‑scope technical problems. • Prepare technical work plans, reports, and scientific documentation. • Interpret and analyze environmental data to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Plan, execute, and report on environmental monitoring of soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediments. • Collect and ship field samples, maintaining chain‑of‑custody documentation. • Study contaminants and recommend restoration strategies. • Perform unsupervised field tasks and lead staff in task execution. • Review analytical data for quality indicators according to established guidelines. • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and field staff on sampling and documentation. • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience; valid U.S. driver’s license; sponsorship not available. • Preferred: Master’s degree, professional registration, ability to travel for field work, and experience with conceptual site models and remediation strategies. • OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months). • Proficiency with office suite; GIS, CAD, database, and visualization software desirable. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients, regulators, and team members. • Ability to lift, carry, and load equipment up to 50 lb, operate a full‑size pickup truck, and tolerate outdoor work in varied weather conditions while being medically fit to wear a respirator.
