About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. Responsibilities span personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative, and risk management functions, ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, and fair housing regulations. • Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff while maintaining daily attendance and schedule compliance. • Address performance issues, document actions, coordinate with HR, and, when necessary, terminate staff. • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, monitor rent collections, vendor invoices, and ensure accurate financial closeouts. • Create yearly marketing plans, lead leasing efforts, handle resident complaints, and implement retention programs. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents, maintaining accurate lease documentation and reporting. • Oversee administrative reporting, lead emergency response teams, and ensure timely maintenance request resolution. • Conduct regular property inspections, manage repairs, and coordinate maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation projects. • Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA requirements, and on‑site software applications. • Meet physical demands including standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and working overtime or on‑call emergencies. • Maintain reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

What You Bring
• Possess a High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) with 1–2 years of housing industry experience; CAM or ARM certification preferred.

Benefits
Compensation includes a salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 per year plus a comprehensive total rewards package featuring medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, performance bonuses, paid sick days, and company holidays.
