About the Role

The role supports Hitachi Energy’s mission to power the world forward by ensuring products meet the highest quality, performance, and reliability standards. Reporting from Alamo, TN, the supervisor leads a dedicated test and warranty team within a modern manufacturing environment. The position emphasizes safety, process efficiency, and continuous improvement while collaborating across functions to solve technical challenges. Key responsibilities include leading, assigning, training, and supporting team members to achieve daily goals, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace, and monitoring key performance indicators for safety, delivery, productivity, and efficiency. The supervisor schedules and executes test and warranty plans to minimize backlog, integrates lean manufacturing practices with ITM teams, resolves technical and logistical issues, and manages employee timekeeping and records. Additionally, they compile and analyze test performance data and share insights to drive operational excellence. • Lead, assign, train, and support test & warranty team to meet daily production goals. • Maintain a safe, clean, and regulatory‑compliant work environment. • Monitor and achieve KPIs for safety, delivery, productivity, and efficiency. • Schedule and execute test and warranty plans, reducing backlog. • Collaborate with ITM teams to implement lean manufacturing practices. • Resolve technical and logistical issues to improve operational flow. • Manage employee timekeeping and maintain accurate records. • Compile, analyze, and share test performance data for continuous improvement. • Supervise manufacturing or industrial teams with proven leadership experience. • Interpret data, diagnose issues, and develop effective solutions. • Apply lean manufacturing or continuous‑improvement principles. • Communicate effectively and coach staff to enhance performance.

What You Bring

Candidates should have proven experience supervising teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting and be able to interpret data, diagnose issues, and implement solutions. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous‑improvement principles, strong communication and coaching skills, and a background in coordinating technical testing or warranty activities are desired. A demonstrated commitment to safety, integrity, and customer focus is essential. • Coordinate technical testing or warranty activities (preferred).
