About the Role

The Field Resource Manager/Construction Superintendent oversees workforce allocation, scheduling, and resource planning for industrial manufacturing construction projects. The role ensures field operations are adequately staffed, materials are available, and project timelines are met while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Follow Turner & Townsend on Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn for updates on projects and company news. • Develop and maintain workforce schedules for multiple construction sites. • Coordinate labor, equipment, and material resources to meet project demands. • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to align resource needs with project milestones. • Monitor progress and adjust resource plans to mitigate delays or shortages. • Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards. • Maintain accurate documentation of certifications, training, and compliance records for field personnel. • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials and services. • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to optimize cost and quality. • Track resource utilization and prepare weekly/monthly reports for leadership. • Identify trends and recommend strategies for improving efficiency and reducing costs.

What You Bring

• 100% on‑site presence, Monday to Friday. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 8+ years of resource management or field operations experience in industrial manufacturing or construction; industrial and defense experience preferred. • Proven experience managing large‑scale projects and diverse teams. • Ability to work in industrial and construction environments with exposure to varying weather conditions. • Strong organizational and analytical skills. • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. • Preferred certifications: PMP and OSHA 30‑hour Construction Safety Certification.
