About the Role

As a senior leader you will manage an 8+ professional team, shape group capability and influence business direction. You will collaborate with Sydney and Canberra Impact Assessment leaders on the annual workgroup plan, resource planning and cross‑office delivery, while fostering a motivated, high‑performing team. • Manage daily team activities to align with AECOM policies and procedures. • Support staff wellbeing, retention, development, and engagement. • Collaborate with Sydney and Canberra Impact Assessment leaders on annual workgroup planning, resource allocation, and cross‑office delivery. • Foster an engaged, motivated, high‑performing team of qualified professionals. • Track and manage the team’s pipeline of opportunities to ensure visibility and strong business performance. • Lead delivery of timely, high‑quality environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments and environmental management plans. • Organise project resources, budgets, and timelines for efficient delivery. • Build and sustain client relationships through quality delivery, commercial acumen and trusted advice. • Maintain REAP certification or be actively progressing toward it.

What You Bring

• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, planning, town planning or environmental engineering. • Demonstrate ability to grow and develop teams and individuals. • Possess deep technical competence in environmental assessments, planning, approvals, due diligence and land‑use planning.
