About the Role

During the training period, the trainee will learn to conduct complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, operate a heavy commercial truck safely along assigned routes, and handle loading, compactor operation, and disposal of waste at designated facilities. Additional duties include identifying unsatisfactory waste containers, monitoring waste for prohibited materials, keeping the vehicle operationally ready by cleaning it after each trip, and adhering to all safety policies. After obtaining the CDL, the employee will perform the full range of driver responsibilities in the assigned line of business and any other tasks as directed. • Remain employed for 12 months after obtaining the CDL • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues • Operate a commercial truck safely along assigned routes, load and unload refuse, and run the compactor • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures • Monitor waste for prohibited materials and report findings • Keep assigned vehicle operationally ready by cleaning packer blade and truck body after each trip • Follow all safety policies and procedures • Drive in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll‑Off lines after CDL acquisition
