About the Role

• Modify and create technical specifications, calculations, and drawings for power line projects. • Use manual methods and Power Line Systems (PLS) software to develop designs. • Ensure deliverables meet federal, state, and local codes (NESC, NES, RUS) and client standards. • Collaborate with project engineers, managers, and supervisors to produce design documents and reports. • Verify quality, compliance, and consistency of all engineering outputs. • Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems throughout the project lifecycle. • Plan, schedule, and monitor personal work to stay on budget and timeline. • Produce detailed designs for underground and overhead distribution and transmission lines. • Support renewable infrastructure projects such as wind, solar, and battery storage. • Participate in mentorship, learning & development programs, and Employee Resource Groups. • Work on‑site in Austin, TX under a hybrid working policy.

What You Bring

The Graduate Electrical Engineer role is based in Austin, TX and follows our hybrid working policy; reliable commuting to the office is required. • Utilize software tools like CDEGS, PLS‑CADD, ETAP, AutoCAD, Bentley (desired) and MS Excel (required). • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. • Obtain a PE license within four years (EIT exam passing preferred). • Hold a BS in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering discipline).
