About the Role
The Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using welding techniques to fabricate or repair components according to specifications. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols. Key duties include performing welding operations using MIG, TIG, SMAW or other processes as required, fitting up and setting up welding equipment and materials, reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols, inspecting welded joints for quality and compliance, maintaining tools in good condition, following safety protocols with proper PPE, performing grinding, cutting, and finishing tasks, documenting work performed, and collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. • Perform MIG, TIG, SMAW welding operations according to job requirements. • Fit up, set up, and maintain welding equipment and materials. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. • Inspect welded joints for quality and compliance with specifications. • Follow safety protocols, using appropriate PPE and adhering to welding standards. • Conduct grinding, cutting, and finishing tasks as needed. • Document work performed and maintain accurate records. • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.

What You Bring
To be successful, you should have a diploma or equivalent with welding certification preferred, 6–10 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, proficiency in MIG, TIG, SMAW techniques, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures, good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail. • Hold a diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred. • Possess 6–10 years of welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication. • Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, SMAW). • Ability to read technical drawings and knowledge of welding safety standards. • Demonstrate good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
