About the Role
The Finance Analyst will support MUS’s financial operations by preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting across business units. The role ensures accuracy through account reconciliation, monitors project costs, and provides variance analysis to leadership. Collaboration with project managers, HR, Operations, and other cross‑functional teams is essential for delivering accurate insights that drive strategic decision‑making. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Support budgeting and forecasting processes across business units. • Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial data. • Monitor project costs and deliver variance analysis to leadership. • Assist internal and external audits by preparing documentation. • Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations. • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Project Management to align finances. • Maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulations.

What You Bring
This position operates in a professional office environment, primarily sedentary, with routine use of standard office equipment. Employees must be able to perform occasional filing, lift up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands required to fulfill essential functions. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. • 1–3 years of finance, accounting, or auditing experience. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. • Solid understanding of GAAP principles. • Excellent organizational, time‑management, and analytical skills. • Effective written and verbal communication abilities. • Preferred: CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification. • Preferred: Experience in construction, utilities, or infrastructure. • Preferred: Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
