About the Role
We are seeking a Construction Inspector Aide to support field inspection activities and ensure construction work complies with contract specifications. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team, which designs, builds, and modernizes essential projects worldwide. The role involves conducting inspections of demolition and construction of transportation facilities, drainage work, traffic control, and electrical installations related to signals and lighting. Daily duties include photographing the project, organizing files, writing diaries and reports, verifying approved materials, identifying potential issues, and responding to emergencies while maintaining public safety. • Conduct inspection activities for demolition, construction, drainage, traffic control, and electrical installations. • Capture daily project photographs and maintain organized office files and quantity calculations. • Write daily diaries, prepare reports, and verify use of approved materials. • Identify potential issues, report to supervisor, and respond to emergency callbacks on site. • Perform work safely, adhering to public safety and hazardous‑condition protocols. • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and public‑works contracts. • Apply basic math, engineering calculations, and graph/chart analysis. • Recognize hazardous conditions and comply with safety standards. • Work collaboratively in dynamic team environments. • Climb ladders, inspect elevated work, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lb.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will be familiar with public‑works contracts, able to read plans and specifications, and possess strong time‑management, communication, and basic math skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project‑management software, ability to recognize hazardous conditions, and willingness to work in teams, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lb are also required. • Manage time effectively and follow written and verbal instructions. • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; produce accurate diaries and reports. • Use Microsoft Office, project‑management software, and internet research tools.
