About the Role
This position is responsible for routine shipping and receiving tasks, including identifying information on incoming and outgoing shipments using purchase orders, invoices, or other documentation to ensure accurate material flow. The role requires physical stamina: employees must use hand and foot controls, reach overhead, lift up to 26 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing. Some tasks may involve operating basic woodworking equipment to build shipment pallets. Key responsibilities include maintaining a continuous supply of materials to production or assembly areas, kitting parts on the line, picking and storing items, operating forklifts or hand trucks, sorting and counting inventory, inspecting parts for damage, documenting discrepancies, and maintaining departmental databases and reports while adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards. • Operate forklift or hand truck to deliver and pick parts; build shipment pallets using basic woodworking equipment. • Perform kitting of parts, maintain inventory levels, and ensure Water Spider stock is adequate. • Inspect parts for damage, record discrepancies, and notify supervisors or purchasing. • Maintain departmental databases, generate routine reports, and file kitter records. • Follow OSHA safety standards and company environmental and quality policies.

What You Bring
Candidates must pass the appropriate Work Keys Assessment and have 1‑2 years of material‑handling experience, including at least one year operating a stand‑up forklift. Additional expectations include the ability to work independently, basic computer knowledge, and the possibility of needing forklift certification or blueprint reading skills. • Pass the Work Keys Assessment. • 1–2 years material‑handling experience; at least 1 year operating a stand‑up forklift. • Ability to read blueprints and use basic computer applications. • Lift up to 26 lb, reach overhead, stand for long periods, and perform stooping, bending, pulling and pushing tasks. • Required PPE: safety shoes and safety glasses.
