About the Role

• Ensure compliance with company policies, IMS and governance. • Order and systematically verify project information. • Prepare activity and resource schedules and analyse tender documents. • Provide commercial input for value‑engineering reviews. • Estimate, appraise and negotiate with third parties as needed. • Support tender processes with commercial adjudication (Go/No‑Go, CRB). • Identify and evaluate new revenue streams and business opportunities. • Assist in preparing delay and disruption programmes. • Manage sub‑contracts, monitor work, and issue appropriate notices. • Analyse commercial progress and report to senior project staff. • Issue and manage Early Warning Notices, risk registers and compensation events. • Conduct constructability analysis using construction programmes. • Develop procurement programmes and strategies. • Analyse rates, variations and compensation events to maximise project value. • Oversee monthly valuations, final accounts, post‑contract settlement and defects management. • Manage contractual disputes, prepare and negotiate claims. • Vet contractual terms against Integral house rules. • Handle cash management, debt recovery, retentions and cash flow. • Produce internal commercial progress and financial reconciliation reports. • Maintain personal development plan and manage HR/people aspects for direct and indirect reports. • Support team development, recruitment of lower grades and goal‑setting planning.

The role involves providing commercial input, managing contracts, and engaging stakeholders to maximise project value. Candidates should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field, and have at least seven years of progressive experience in commercial management, contract negotiation, and related roles. A proven track record in successful contract negotiations, relationship management, and familiarity with CRM and contract‑management tools is required. • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field. • Possess at least seven years of progressive experience in commercial management or contract negotiation. • Demonstrate a proven track record of successful contract negotiations and relationship management. • Experience in commercial environments with financial targets and business growth. • Proficient with CRM systems and contract‑management tools.
