About the Role
We are seeking a Supervising Mechanical Engineer IV to join our team in either Jacksonville or Tampa, FL. In this role you will represent the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members, while supervising, coordinating, and assigning various projects to the team. As Engineer of Record you will lead coordination meetings, establish design standards and specifications, and supervise the preparation of reports and system‑option analyses. You will maintain interdisciplinary coordination, oversee construction administration tasks such as field reports and RFIs, and manage budgeting, scheduling, and staff assignments. In addition to technical leadership, you will conduct periodic employee evaluations, participate in the Technical Leadership Committee, and assist the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with staff mentoring and technical training. • Serve as Engineer of Record and lead project coordination meetings. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects. • Supervise preparation of reports, system option analyses, and building condition assessments. • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and consultants. • Oversee construction administration, including field reports, RFIs, bulletins, and addenda. • Manage project budgeting, scheduling, and staff assignments. • Conduct periodic employee evaluations and contribute to the Technical Leadership Committee. • Assist the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with training and staff mentoring.

What You Bring
Successful candidates must hold a current PE license, have healthcare design experience, and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. The role requires at least 12 years of consulting MEP experience, three years of supervisory experience, and strong hands‑on design and CAD/Revit skills, preferably with exposure to healthcare, federal, critical facilities, commercial or aviation projects. • Hold a current PE license and possess healthcare design experience. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Provide at least 12 years of consulting MEP experience and 3 years of supervisory experience. • Demonstrate hands‑on design and CAD/Revit proficiency. • Experience with healthcare, federal, critical facilities, commercial or aviation projects.
