About the Role
The role involves supervising production operations to maximize output in a continuous 24/7 manufacturing environment, specifically on the third shift from 12:00 PM to 8:30 AM. Coordination with production planners is essential to secure output, maintain quality, and achieve established goals and KPIs. A strong emphasis is placed on a “Safety First” culture, requiring strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Leadership must model safety, teamwork, and transparent collaboration for the entire team. Key duties include scheduling and assigning staff, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, and taking corrective action as needed. The supervisor also ensures accurate production records, facilitates communication between shifts and departments, and conducts regular production meetings to review procedures. Effective performance management is required, including motivating employees, holding them accountable to goals, and applying progressive discipline when necessary. The minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3‑5 years of relevant manufacturing experience, and 1‑2 years of supervisory experience.
