About the Role

The Service Technician role focuses on troubleshooting and servicing commercial security systems, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card access. Technicians work independently from remote locations, provide expert advice to customers and the customer care center, and ensure building efficiency. • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace security equipment (alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, card access) • Advise customers and relay system status to the customer care center • Perform inspections, prepare trouble order forms, and test equipment functionality • Coordinate inspections/installations with police, fire departments, or other agencies • Provide recommendations, quotes, and upselling solutions to improve facility efficiency

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–4 years experience with Tyco Integrated Security or similar • Experience with card access, CCTV/IP cameras; Hirsch certification • Strong communication, electrical/electronic background, valid driver’s license • Preferred: some college education, NICET Level II or higher
