About the Role

The Tier 1 Data Center Operations & Network Support Technician role places you on the front lines of keeping mission‑critical infrastructure running. This hands‑on, customer‑facing position supports both network and data‑center (IBX) operations, assists the service desk, performs Smart Hands/Remote Hands tasks, and troubleshoots network, server, and infrastructure issues in a secure, always‑on environment. An active Top Secret clearance is required. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting network problems and providing Level 3 network triage, publishing and managing EGS‑Helpdesk and NOC checklists for all tiers, and offering escalation support for multi‑vendor devices while maintaining effective workarounds. You will also perform software and device patch updates, health checks, capacity management, and create scripts and reports to improve incident tracking and proactive monitoring. • Provide Level 3 network triage and resolve outages. • Manage and publish EGS‑Helpdesk & NOC checklists for all tiers. • Escalate and support multi‑vendor device issues, maintaining workarounds. • Perform software/device patching, health checks, and capacity management. • Create troubleshooting scripts and generate incident/report metrics. • Deliver network service fulfillment for quote‑to‑cash tickets (interconnections, DCIM, etc.).

What You Bring

Qualifications require an active Top Secret US Government clearance and 1‑3 years of network operations experience, including monitoring power failures and communication line alarms. Benefits

The targeted pay range for this position in Miami, MI, is $90,000‑$136,000 annually, with actual compensation based on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Employees are also eligible for bonuses and may receive equity depending on the position.
