About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The role also involves installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document all tasks. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Manage and store department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to support their growth. • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility. • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures and use a computer for 1–2 hours per day.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • Have 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. • Possess 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and experience with a CMMS. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project for document creation and management. • Flexibly work various schedules or shifts as required. • Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field. • Preferred: Familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines. • Preferred: Experience with robotic operation and maintenance, including basic I/O troubleshooting. • Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lifts, and lift up to 50 lb of equipment. • Wear required PPE such as hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes. • Frequent crouching, bending, and walking 6–12 miles daily across multiple departments and floors.
