About the Role

This role serves as the point of contact for escalations related to the execution of the overall SIOP plan. It schedules short‑term production based on S&OE processes, maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counting, and manages the movement of materials—including internal receipts, storage, distribution, and transportation—to support plant operations using lean material flow. It generates short‑term production schedules aligned with the Network plan and monitors execution, including labor scheduling on the factory floor. The role escalates material availability issues to COE and Network teams, drives forecast attainment aligned with the MPS from the SIOP plan, and executes shipment schedules that meet customer priority dates and network requirements. The incumbent champions continuous improvement by leveraging internal assessments, visual management, standard work, and value‑stream mapping. They maintain target inventory levels, meet on‑time‑delivery goals for internal and external customers, and ensure overall freight targets are achieved.
