About the Role
The Assistant Property Manager for Sage at 1240 will help maintain the multifamily community to a market‑ready standard while delivering high‑level service. This role supports the Property Manager in driving team performance and maximizing property results. Key responsibilities include overseeing day‑to‑day operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The Assistant Property Manager also ensures superior customer service and communication with residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. • Ensure smooth community operations in a fast‑paced setting. • Assist with maintenance, capital projects, and lease administration. • Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and expense control. • Manage collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, and marketing efforts. • Oversee lease renewals, service contracts, and audit compliance. • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards. • Track advertising performance and prospect traffic. • Model and reinforce Cushman & Wakefield mission and policies. • Interview, hire, and coach on‑site staff as needed. • Maintain resident files in accordance with company standards. • Resolve conflicts promptly and follow up consistently. • Manage overall community budget and financial performance. • Collaborate with leasing staff to achieve marketing and leasing goals.

What You Bring
The position requires strong communication and customer‑service skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools, and solid office, bookkeeping, and sales abilities. Competencies include goal‑setting for leasing staff, supervising team adherence to Cushman & Wakefield policies, and effective conflict resolution. Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least a high school diploma, GED, or technical/vocational schooling required. Candidates should have three or more years of property‑management experience and at least one year of management experience.
