About the Role

Applicants should submit a resume, cover letter outlining relevant experience and qualifications, and any certifications or project examples. The hiring process respects equal employment opportunity and privacy regulations. • Troubleshoot BAS onsite and remotely, using fault‑detection tools. • Develop and load databases, graphics, and programming for special systems and control projects (Distech, Alerton, Tridium preferred). • Perform start‑up, commissioning, and point‑to‑point checkout of systems, verifying alarms and annunciations. • Support installation personnel, mentor System Specialist I, and assist other contractors on site. • Debug static and dynamic start‑up issues and provide ongoing service support for existing installations. • Create start‑up documentation (daily logs, check‑out logs, commissioning reports) and maintain software backups. • Complete timesheets, work orders, as‑built drawings, and O&M manuals accurately and timely. • Assist sales during estimating and product demonstrations; aid project turnover from operations to service. • Travel to job sites as required for start‑up, commissioning, and support. • Maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy.

What You Bring

Level I employees achieve many objectives with timely supervision; Level II consistently meets all objectives and mentors Level I staff; Senior staff are highly experienced, with advanced knowledge of controls programming, system integrations, and sophisticated HVAC strategies. • Hold a Bachelor’s/Associate degree or equivalent and ≥3 years building controls experience. • Proficient in programming, controls database management, networking, and electrical troubleshooting. • Experience with Distech, Alerton, or Tridium controls; HVAC operations; Fault Detection & Diagnostics (e.g., SkySpark). • Ability to lift 50 lb, climb ladders, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform kneeling, stooping, crawling.
