About the Role
The Transport Help Desk role supports a 24‑hour operation that manages all transport enquiries and service requests for the client. This position ensures accurate documentation, timely reporting, and coordination with administration to keep transport services running smoothly. • Operate a 24‑hour transport help desk, receiving and responding to all transport enquiries. • Log every transport request and complaint, assigning a unique identification number. • Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and daily staff pickup/drop lists. • Generate work orders or job cards for each request with a distinct reference number. • Provide arrival reports and daily/weekly status updates to operations. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports on transport activity. • Keep an up‑to‑date list of critical transport‑related telephone numbers. • Coordinate with administration to process and pay transport invoices.
