About the Role
Key responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of critical systems, complex repairs, installations, inspections, and monitoring building management system alarms. The specialist will also lead vendor coordination, manage maintenance scripts, service approvals, and keep technical records up to date, while maintaining detailed site logs, permits, and responding to incidents with root‑cause analysis. Additional duties involve completing work orders and circuit installations, troubleshooting office equipment, driving infrastructure upgrades, mentoring peers, and managing inventory of critical parts. The role also emphasizes energy‑efficiency initiatives and adherence to safety and life‑safety standards. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and life‑safety systems. • Conduct complex repairs, installations, and inspections while monitoring BMS alarms and proposing solutions. • Lead vendor operations, create maintenance scripts, manage service approvals, and maintain accurate technical records. • Maintain detailed site logs and permits, identify single points of failure, and respond to incidents with root‑cause analysis. • Complete skilled work orders, circuit installations, troubleshoot office equipment, and support infrastructure upgrade projects. • Mentor peers, share expertise, and assist with inventory management of critical parts. • Champion energy‑efficiency initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards. • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance protocols.

What You Bring

Benefits
The targeted pay range for this position in New York City is $77,000–$115,600 annually, with additional compensation such as bonuses and equity possible.
