About the Role

The Senior Director, Digital Marketing will lead B2C and B2B customer acquisition for Apartments.com, overseeing paid search, programmatic display, paid social, and retargeting initiatives. Reporting from the Atlanta office, the role blends creative strategy, data‑driven analysis, and large‑scale media buying across platforms such as Google, Bing, DSPs, and DMPs. Success is measured by ROI, traffic, lead generation, and overall acquisition efficiency. • Drive B2C and B2B acquisition campaigns across paid search, programmatic display, social, and other channels. • Manage acquisition budget forecasting and oversight. • Build, mentor, and lead a digital marketing team of subject‑matter experts. • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Creative teams to define campaign strategy and assets. • Identify and secure new customer acquisition opportunities through channel partners and agencies. • Set strategy and oversee operations for DMPs, DSPs, ad networks, and retargeting. • Achieve traffic, lead‑gen, and performance targets via segmentation, targeting, and creative optimization. • Improve spend efficiency by lowering cost‑per‑visit and cost‑per‑lead. • Lead testing and learning initiatives to boost revenue and customer growth. • Work with broader marketing team to develop comprehensive plans aligned with company goals. • Partner cross‑functionally with Product, SEO, Analytics, Finance, IT, Sales, and executives to meet corporate objectives. • Managed digital media budgets of at least $75 million annually. • Led and mentored teams, overseeing scenario planning with cross‑functional partners. • Managed external vendor partners to maximize program performance. • Translate insights into high‑performing media strategies. • Communicate complex programs clearly to partners and stakeholders.
