About the Role

The role oversees end‑to‑end commissioning of new or retrofit facilities, ensuring contract compliance and alignment with owner requirements, and integrates commissioning activities within the project quality‑control plan. • Manage site‑specific commissioning from Level 1 through Level 5 for new builds and retrofits. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners and operations teams to ensure compliant project delivery. • Implement policies and procedures to support schedule, contractual obligations and quality compliance. • Interface with QC and MEP teams to execute checklists, engineering documents and test scripts per the commissioning plan. • Oversee contractual milestones, client/GC obligations and third‑party commissioning agent plans. • Prepare and manage commissioning and QC turnover documentation for client handover. • Define on‑site resource needs for trade partners, vendors, commissioning agents and staff to meet schedule. • Develop and integrate start‑up and commissioning schedules, sequencing Level 3‑5 activities and minimizing Level 4 overlap. • Collaborate with OFCI equipment vendors to ensure efficient installation and compliance with QC plans. • Conduct equipment vendor QC checks, provide field documentation and enforce checkpoints before energization. • Lead start‑up and commissioning meetings to update stakeholders on QC plans and schedules. • Contribute to project‑specific QC plan development and online equipment database population. • Maintain quality and closeout dashboards, review weekly trends and address issues with vendors/partners. • Support pre‑installation meetings, communicate contract scope expectations to trade partners and vendors. • Develop punch‑list prevention plans and manage commissioning deficiencies. • Arrange third‑party testing, analyze results and report findings. • Onboard new project staff, trade partners and vendors on quality and commissioning processes. • Perform OFCI and CFCI equipment delivery inspections in coordination with superintendents and foremen.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of MEP construction experience, including five years of commissioning, possesses ASHRAE commissioning certification, and has deep knowledge of MEP systems, building management systems, and contract documents to lead multidisciplinary teams.
