About the Role

The manager will create category and sourcing strategies, engage internal stakeholders, perform spend segmentation and market analysis, and adapt plans to changing business and economic conditions. They will also support annual category reviews with updated metrics and risk mitigation. Key duties include managing relationships with key suppliers, conducting business reviews, monitoring quality and delivery performance, and leveraging relationships for expedites. The manager will also oversee the financial success of the category through pricing strategies and regular financial reviews. Cost reduction responsibilities involve negotiating contracts, defining negotiation strategies, monitoring market drivers, forecasting commodity inflation, and building total cost of ownership models. The manager orçamento monitors raw material pricing, supplier capacity, and industry disruptions. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least six years of experience managing indirect categories, strong purchasing and negotiation skills, business acumen, and effective communication. The base salary ranges from $102,000 to $153,000 (higher in select locations) and includes a hybrid work model.
