About the Role

As a Resident Project Representative II you will serve on the front lines of infrastructure development, ensuring designs are built to the highest standards. Working under a Design Project Manager, you will coordinate daily construction activities, oversee material compliance, and guide junior staff to maintain project quality and schedule. • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, flagging any discrepancies. • Keep accurate daily logs of contractor activities, labor, equipment, and materials. • Verify construction materials for contract compliance. • Calculate quantities and prepare pay estimates for work acceptance. • Participate in or chair construction progress meetings. • Observe installation and conduct acceptance testing of equipment and systems. • Identify non‑conforming work and maintain punchlists until resolution. • Prepare documentation for engineer review and acceptance. • Support project audit and closeout processes. • Work under the guidance of a Design Project Manager. • Supervise junior Resident Project Representatives, construction inspectors, testing services, and subconsultants. • Interpret construction schedules to monitor project timelines. • Provide problem‑solving solutions to engineering challenges.

What You Bring

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction technology, or equivalent experience, plus at least five years of progressive, multidisciplinary construction experience. Candidates must understand contracts, codes, and construction drawings, be proficient with software such as Microsoft Office and Primavera, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. • Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification (preferred). • Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction technology, or equivalent experience. • Bring at least five years of progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects. • Understand contracts and applicable construction codes and laws. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or similar construction software. • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
