About the Role

As a Municipal Project Engineer/Manager based in Calgary, you will step into a pivotal role where your municipal engineering expertise shapes the future of one of Canada’s fastest‑growing cities and the surrounding communities throughout Southern Alberta and the Canadian Rockies. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams delivering water, wastewater, drainage, roadway, and land‑development projects that support thriving, resilient communities. In this role you will lead the planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects for both public and private sector clients, guiding teams through conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases while ensuring excellence and innovation. You will build and strengthen client relationships, act as a trusted advisor from project initiation through completion, and collaborate with municipal, utility, and regulatory agencies to navigate approvals and keep projects moving forward. You will also be responsible for overseeing budgets, schedules, scope, and project quality, conducting site inspections, providing technical oversight during construction, and mentoring emerging professionals within the Calgary municipal design practice. What You Bring

The ideal candidate brings 10‑15+ years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, an active P.Eng. licence in Alberta, and a proven ability to lead complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of Alberta municipal processes, permitting pathways, and infrastructure standards is essential; PMP certification and experience with mountain‑region projects are considered assets, as is a valid driver’s licence for site work. • Apply 10‑15+ years of municipal infrastructure delivery experience and a Civil Engineering degree with active P.Eng. designation in Alberta. • Demonstrate ability to lead complex projects and multidisciplinary teams with strong knowledge of Alberta municipal processes and standards. • Design water, sanitary, stormwater, and roadway systems; PMP certification is an asset. • Maintain a valid driver’s licence and be prepared for site‑based work in diverse environmental conditions.
