About the Role

The Maintenance Technician provides essential support to residents, ensuring quality move-ins, resident satisfaction, swift service, and personalized attention while delivering superior customer service. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs; promptly responding to resident requests; performing plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal tasks; maintaining grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities; participating in on‑call schedules for after‑hour emergencies; reporting issues to the supervisor; and adhering to safety procedures, training, uniform standards, and tool maintenance. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs). • Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude. • Perform plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal tasks. • Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. • Participate in on‑call schedule for after‑hour emergencies. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model units, and common areas to supervisor. • Follow all safety procedures and attend required training. • Wear company uniform and maintain tools and equipment. • Read manuals, compute rates/ratios, perform basic math, and write routine reports.

What You Bring

Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II and CPO certification, the ability to read manuals, compute rates and ratios, solve routine problems, perform basic math, and write reports; applicants must have a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical education and at least one year of related maintenance experience. The role operates in a professional office environment, utilizes standard office equipment, and involves travel between properties in varying weather conditions; physical demands include extended standing and walking, climbing stairs or ladders, occasional lifting of up to 100 lb, and up to 10% travel time. • Hold a valid driver's license and EPA 608 Type II/CPO certification. • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or trade/technical education. • Minimum of 1 year related maintenance experience. • Work in an office setting, travel between properties, and handle physical tasks up to 100 lb.
