About the Role

The Advisor will engage face‑to‑face with the community, respond to public enquiries, and communicate with businesses, ratepayers and residents about road maintenance and minor construction. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing works notification letters, supporting internal events and providing administrative assistance, while collaborating with planning, delivery and support teams to ensure timely, coordinated communications. • Deliver key communications activities to meet contractual requirements. • Minimise disruption to customers through public communications and liaison. • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships via communication plans, achieving high satisfaction. • Provide customer and stakeholder insights throughout project phases. • Provide exceptional customer service with problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills. • Utilise MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and maintain accurate records.
