About the Role
The role involves ensuring contractor compliance with contract documents, maintaining daily records of labor and equipment, conducting site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Structural Engineer, and preparing daily reports on work orders, material deliveries, and inspections. It also includes implementing site instructions, applying quality controls, performing measurements and surveying, coordinating with client project managers, monitoring QA/QC activities, assisting with correspondence, resolving site issues, overseeing start‑up, commissioning, and hand‑over, and maintaining records of tests and milestones. • Ensure contractor compliance with contract standards and specifications. • Maintain daily records of contractor labor and equipment resources. • Undertake site supervision and inspections as directed by Resident or Structural Engineer. • Liaise daily with the contractor to manage resources, health and safety, and equipment needs. • Prepare daily reports for the Resident or Structural Engineer, including work orders, material deliveries, and inspection schedules. • Implement site instructions issued by the Resident or Structural Engineer. • Apply all site quality controls and procedures. • Perform site measurements and surveying checks for bridge work and related structures. • Coordinate with client project manager during site inspections involving the Resident or Structural Engineer. • Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records. • Assist the Resident and Structural Engineer in preparing correspondence complying with contract documents and site requirements. • Work with the Resident or Structural Engineer to promptly resolve site problems. • Monitor start‑up, commissioning, and hand‑over of site works, maintaining records of project milestones. • Maintain records of material tests performed and works executed. • Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor‑submitted plans.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least seven years of experience on similar projects, with a minimum of three years in the UAE. Experience in marine, structural, and road projects is preferred, as is UAE-specific experience and RTA approval. A bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering is required.
