About the Role

Job Summary: Manufacture customized products that meet customer specifications and prepare completed orders for shipment. The role involves selecting appropriate processes based on prescribed rules, seeking guidance on non‑routine issues, and operating under close supervision with limited independent judgment. Nature and Scope: The position selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction, and seeks supervisor advice for non‑routine or problem areas. Under close supervision, the employee exercises limited latitude and relies on detailed checks and senior review. • Examine customer order specifications using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics, materials, and machine setup. • Fabricate work pieces per specifications, retrieve materials, and perform various fabrication duties. • Inspect work pieces visually, by touch, or with measuring tools to ensure standards are met. • Package products for shipping and install protective devices (bracing, padding, strapping) to prevent damage. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Follow company safety policies and procedures. • Operate fabrication shop equipment. • Perform metalworking tasks.

What You Bring

Work Environment: The role is based in a comfortable setting but includes regular exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. It requires intermittent physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting heavy or awkward items (50+ pounds). Overnight travel is minimal, typically less than 10 % of the time. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, and candidates should have 0–2 years of relevant experience in the field.
