About the Role
Under the direction of the District Manager, this position is responsible to provide field service engineering and technical assistance to customers in areas of installation, startup, maintenance, repair, training and modification on power transmission, distribution and generation equipment and systems. The role focuses on delivering on‑site support for a wide range of electrical power equipment. In this function you will self‑manage assigned projects for electrical equipment, utilize electrical test and diagnostic tools, and deliver technical solutions to customers. You will also perform complex engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, material testing, process studies, or research investigations. Required skills include basic and intermediate test equipment operation and basic to advanced troubleshooting techniques. • Provide on‑site engineering, installation, testing, startup, maintenance, repair, training, and modification of power transmission, distribution, and generation equipment. • Self‑manage assigned electrical equipment projects and deliver technical solutions to customers. • Operate basic and advanced test equipment, perform troubleshooting, and conduct complex engineering assignments such as product design and materials testing. • Follow safety precautions and apply effective time‑management, prioritization, and project‑management practices.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a post‑secondary degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technologist/CET from an accredited institution. A Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician certification is required. Candidates need 1‑3 years of experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems, with preferred experience in power quality measurements, troubleshooting and analysis. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship and possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license. Drug and alcohol testing may be required per company policy. Effective time management, prioritization, project management, and strict adherence to safety precautions when working with electrical and electronic equipment are essential. • Hold a post‑secondary degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technologist/CET and a Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician certification. • Possess 1‑3 years experience with electrical distribution or control systems, including power quality measurements and analysis. • Maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Benefits
The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000‑$87,000, adjusted based on skills, experience, and market considerations.
