About the Role
The Managing Director of Corporate Security is the chief security leader and advisor for Constellation Business Units, responsible for developing and executing an enterprise‑wide security strategy that reduces risk and protects the company from financial, physical, information, and personal threats. The role oversees integrated security functions—including investigations, physical security assessments, the Security Operations Center, infrastructure protection, regulatory compliance, background investigations, due diligence, and business‑continuity crisis management—to ensure consistent protection of people and assets. The position works closely with senior leaders and internal and external partners to deliver security services efficiently and meet regulatory requirements. • Lead and regularly review the enterprise‑wide security strategy, aligning it with senior leadership priorities, regulatory mandates, and evolving risk conditions; recommend enhancements across business units. • Integrate and oversee security programs, projects, and policies to maintain compliance with federal and state laws, audit standards, and corporate governance. • Direct strategic planning and coordination for crisis management and business continuity to ensure effective response to interruptions. • Manage internal code‑of‑conduct and ethics investigations, collaborating with HR, Legal, and Audit to implement corrective controls and prevent recurrence. • Serve as subject‑matter expert and liaison to government agencies (e.g., DHS, FBI, USSS) and industry organizations, providing leadership within the corporate crisis‑management structure. • Lead company‑wide protection initiatives such as workplace‑violence prevention, threat assessment, and physical security of assets; create security awareness and training programs to strengthen the safety culture.

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Cyber Security, or a related discipline. • Possess 15 years of corporate security experience, including 10 years in a management role, preferably within a Fortune 500 company or a state/federal law‑enforcement agency. • Demonstrate liaison experience with local, state, and federal agencies. • Expertise in security strategy planning, executive support, security assessments, investigations, policy development, business‑continuity crisis management, intelligence, background checks, infrastructure protection, and Security Operations Center management. • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills; ability to prepare and deliver internal and external presentations. • Experience ensuring regulatory compliance with FERC, NERC, NRC, TSA, and CFATS, and working with audit staff. • Proven ability to conduct long‑term strategic planning and to travel domestically and internationally as required. • Preferred: advanced degree in a relevant discipline. • Preferred: experience conducting or managing investigations with legal scrutiny across multiple jurisdictions, or labor and employment law background. • Preferred: experience in security assessments and eligibility for a Secret‑level security clearance.
