About the Role

The Project Manager will lead meetings, develop agendas, and maintain master budgets and timelines to ensure project objectives and client needs are met. They will prepare and coordinate reports and drawing reviews across all project phases, assist in selecting and overseeing consultants and construction teams, and review change orders and invoices, providing counsel to senior management. Additionally, the manager will supervise staff, deliver documentation, collaborate with facility personnel, and report major issues with actionable recommendations. • Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain master project budgets and timelines for each phase. • Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews throughout conceptual to construction phases. • Assist in selecting, contracting, and overseeing consultants and construction teams, integrating related C&W components as needed. • Review requisitions, change orders, and invoices, advising the Account/Portfolio Manager and facility team. • Participate directly in marketing and presenting services to clients. • Supervise and manage performance, development, work quality, reporting, and activities of Project Managers, Space Planners, and CAD Operators. • Provide all required documentation and reports to clients and facility management. • Collaborate with building/facility personnel to achieve corporate goals for quality, service, cost, and profit. • Report major problems, findings, and results to the Account/Portfolio Manager and senior facility manager with comprehensive recommendations. • Obtain necessary approvals before making organizational changes or expenditures exceeding the approved budget. • Establish goals and timetables for the supervised unit and sub‑units. • Select, hire, and delegate authority and responsibility to subordinates. • Train, develop, motivate, and discipline staff to meet established goals and appraise their performance. • Implement government laws and regulations and adhere to authority rulings. • Autonomously manage complete projects from onset through completion, reading construction specifications, blueprints, and architectural/engineering drawings. • Prepare and track master project budgets, staying highly organized and managing multiple priorities; understand technical requirements for various project types, preferably with life‑sciences or high‑tech manufacturing experience.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a B.S. degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, and possess at least five years of directly related engineering or construction project experience. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a project-management capacity, strong client-relations skills, and the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings are required. Experience within the construction industry is essential, with preference for candidates who have life-sciences or high‑tech manufacturing background. • Demonstrate solid project management skills and understanding of the project management business. • Possess experience in client relations, client management, and consulting. • Communication Proficiency (oral and written). • Technical Proficiency. • Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role. • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in project management, including budgeting, leading, and delivering construction projects.

Benefits

The position offers a compensation range of $89,250 to $105,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental insurance, flexible spending and health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability coverage, and paid or unpaid time off. Pay is competitive and may vary based on location, experience, and other eligibility factors, and the company adheres to minimum wage requirements.
