Production Supervisor - QTMP

About the Role

QTMP involves the design, manufacture and maintenance of 65 new six‑car passenger trains to support Cross River Rail and the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. These trains will be built at a new, purpose‑built facility in Torbanlea on the Fraser Coast. The Production Supervisor is vital to QTMP, ensuring safe, high‑quality, and efficient operations at the Torbanlea facility. This role oversees daily manufacturing, coordinates resources, leads a skilled team, and upholds Downer’s standards of innovation and asset management through continuous improvement and collaboration. • Ensure high‑quality work is produced in line with customer specifications • Manage production workforce, safety, quality and schedule • Drive team development and seek continuous improvement opportunities • Produce reports for leadership as needed • Conduct meetings, including toolbox talks and pre‑starts • Apply LEAN manufacturing best practices • Apply quality principles and conduct investigations

What You Bring
