About the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and coordinates all activities related to material movement, receiving, loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and stock maintenance within the storeroom or warehouse. The role includes reviewing shipping and receiving orders and handling material movement requests to ensure smooth operations. The supervisor delivers top-level customer service to the Production team, hires and trains staff, communicates expectations, and enforces company policies. They develop work schedules, assign tasks, and approve employee hours to maintain an efficient flow of inventory from the warehouse to the production floor. Inventory organization is continuously evaluated for optimal space utilization, with recommendations for process improvements. The supervisor ensures accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, proper labeling, correct bin placement, and oversees forklift safety inspections and the salvage of damaged material. • Provide exceptional customer service to the Production team. • Hire, train, and coach warehouse staff while enforcing policies. • Create schedules and assign work to ensure efficient inventory flow. • Review and approve employee timesheets regularly. • Optimize inventory layout for space utilization and recommend improvements. • Oversee sorting, staging, and accurate labeling of products. • Conduct cycle counts and daily inventory checks to maintain accuracy. • Ensure forklift safety inspections are performed and documented. • Manage salvage of damaged or used material and log non-conforming products. • Maintain compliance with AAON Forklift Certification and safety standards.

What You Bring

A high school diploma or GED and at least two years of warehouse or storeroom experience are required, along with an AAON Forklift Certification. The role demands strong leadership, effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, multitasking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lb and remaining seated or standing for the majority of the shift, while working in varying temperatures and exposure to dust and occasional fumes.
