About the Role

Interns join a high‑functioning team, receive guidance, supervision, and mentorship from experienced engineers, and assist in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. Most interns later convert to full‑time employees. • Collaborate on railway and transit projects, assisting in design and development. • Support engineers in interpreting project requirements and proposing innovative solutions. • Perform engineering calculations for system design and analysis. • Help design railway system layouts and coordinate across disciplines. • Participate in field surveys and produce technical drawings and reports. • Contribute to project documentation.

What You Bring

The role is based in New York City, NY, full‑time, with core business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and requires successful completion of a criminal background check. • Enrolled in an ABET‑accredited Civil Engineering bachelor's or master's program. • Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation. • Demonstrated interest in transit/railway engineering through internship or coursework. • Proficient in data analysis with strong problem‑solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication; self‑motivated and proactive. • Experience with Bentley Rail Track (preferred). • Knowledge of railway and transit engineering principles (preferred).
